I love New Years Eve and New Years Day.
There’s something lovely about slow endings and new beginnings.
Every year I take the time to reflect on what the year had in store for me. Both beautiful and difficult.
Then I ask myself what I want for the new year and for the four years following this one.
Perhaps this is a great time for me because I love fresh starts or because it’s a forced reminder for me to look back for a minute.
Whatever it is, I feel all ooey gooey today and will certainly feel like I could conquer the world tomorrow morning.
No matter what walls I run into in the afternoon, I will live in these moments while they’re here.
Now, let’s take a look back at my favorite portraits from 2013.
This is my final look back the most diverse.
I hope your final minutes of 2013 are filled with love and adventure and introspection.
with love and 2013,
