I have been in a season of transition.
For a while now.
Transition can be beautiful and it can be quite ugly.
I think having people in your life that are supportive and loving can be the thing that determines which way it goes.
I’ve been blessed with so much tenderness in my life that it has all been pretty lovely even when it’s hard.
Along with all of the other changes I’ve been putting serious consideration into my career path.
Is this the career that I want to have forever?
Is my soul filled doing what I do?
The easy answer is ‘yes.’
The easy answer is to keep running down the path that I’m on.
To continue building on my current foundation.
The honest answer is, “no.”
That I may be building a foundation for someone else’s dream.
I could continue doing what I’m doing and I’ll be ‘fine.’
But, I won’t be amazing.
So, what does that mean?
That means that I’ve taken another job.
I’ll be working at Odd’s Cafe’ in West Asheville.
Slinging coffee and smiles.
This is intended to give me time to slow my business down and really start to develop a clear vision for the future.
I have daydreams of portrait projects and coffee table books.
What does this mean for the business right now?
I’m going to be making small changes to simplify.
From this point on I’ll be taking only four sessions a month and booking a month ahead of time.
This will make it easier to maintain my schedule and to continue giving each client the attention that I’d like them to have.
I will do my best to keep everyone updated as things book up.
I will continue to blog and do personal photo projects as well so keep coming back this way!
Thanks for being here.
with love and transition,
