The day was so relaxed! Michelle woke up and sat on the couch watching “The Prince and Me” and working on her vows. She had the glow of a woman in love and the peace of mind that said, “I know I’m making a great decision.” She was graceful from the beginning to the end, dancing from the hair dressers to the church, even going to get her own chicken nuggets for lunch (we would have gotten those for you Michelle!). She was at ease. I loved watching her just take her time with the day and savor every moment with less stress than I’ve seen in a long time.
When he watched her walking down the isle, he was proud! He knew that he was marrying the most beautiful woman in the room and her face lit up with confidence that he was enamored by her. It was all I could do not to tear up during the ceremony. It was so intimate and personal. Everything that Will and Michelle did included everyone who was there. They made a point to speak to every single person who came, to take a picture of every person who came, and to include everyone who came in the ceremony process. I was so touched by their appreciation for their guests. They really are people who care about people!
OK, so maybe one of my favorite parts about being a wedding photographer is all the fun girl stuff. Is it my fault that I love make-up, shoes, dresses, and pretty things? I don’t think so.
Kyle took these sweet shots of me doing Michelle’s make-up. I so loved having him there to second shoot for me.
Loved Kyle’s detail shot of the candles at the alter.
Michelle and Will went for a custom photo guest book as well as a custom wedding logo! I loved the special touches!
Kyle did such a good job at capturing the details of the day! I love this wheel shot and the lantern below.
O gosh Michelle, you’re so pretty!
I love how they used a bunch of different cakes instead of one big one. So cool!
Michelle had her bridal portraits on every table. Everything was awesome down to the very last detail.
Michelle and Will, I had such a great time at your wedding. You two are such kind, genuine people! I hope you’re having a great time on your secret honeymoon trip : )
While you’re here, check out my husband’s blog post about second shooting!
with love and fall,
Sarajane.
